The Petrophysics Institute Foundation

http://fundaciongomezpardo.info/images/images/IPF_logo_p.jpgThe Petrophysics Institute Foundation (IPf) is created in year 2008 in order to provide petrophysical services of high quality to spanish and international customers in the sectors of energy and civil engineering.

This allows additionally a technological and scientific return for the country. The first Spanish petrophysics laboratory will act worldwide and in a research center highly qualified, where an R+D+i activity can be carried-out in accordance with the industrial requirements of the XXI century.



IPf commitments:

The commitments of the IPf are closely related to the non-profit character of the foundation. The most important ones are as follows:

  • Creation of the first petrophysics laboratory in Spain equipped with state of the art technology and able to meet the most advanced research challenges, both national and international.
  • To reinvest the benefits obtained during its activity in order to improve its capacities.
  • To carry-out studies of petrophysical research and become a reference laboratory in the R&D+I in the  national and international fields.



Location

IPf is situated in the headquarters of the Scientific and Technological Park of Getafe (Tecnogetafe), 15 kms away from Madrid and within the Technological Center of the Mining School, which is promoted by the Superior Technical School of Mining and the Gómez-Pardo Foundation.
